My journey began in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where I spent my early years soaking up the vibrant cultures of Africa before moving to Johannesburg at a young age. My love for chemistry and biology led me to pursue a master’s degree in pharmacology, but my heart has always been with the incredible women of Africa.

At FDK, our mission is deeply personal to me. We’re dedicated to crafting skin and hair care products that celebrate the unique beauty and needs of African women. Each product we create is a reflection of my commitment to empowering women and honoring our rich heritage.

Inspired by Maya Angelou’s wisdom, “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it,” I pour my heart into every aspect of our brand. For me, FDK is not just about creating products—it’s about making a meaningful impact and celebrating the beauty of our community.
